After seeing the deer’s in Nara Koen (Park) we headed back to Kyoto Station. Me, Marcos, and Alan were really excited because there was someone very important waiting for us at the station. For all the Kizuna students and family friends reading this (the Japan trip 2 years ago), he was one of the hosts from two years ago. His nickname was “Sexy Boy,” but real name Kansei Mori. Alan got in touch with him the day before we left our host families and told him, “ we would be at Kyoto Station at four o’clock, but we might not be their for a long time.” Kansei answered, “OK, I’ll be there before four!” Kansei wanted to see us just as badly as we wanted to see him- we were so happy! When we got off the train me, Marcos, and Alan were walking really fast off the train through Kyoto Station to the Central Entrance. When I spotted him we ran over to him and each of us gave him a giant hug. We all asked him how he was doing and walked around Kyoto Station with him. We took lots of pictures together and enjoyed ourselves in the forty minutes we had. He walked us to our bus heading to Ninnaji and we all gave him big hugs, took one last group photo, and then left.
