We had a super fun-filled and busy day taking in the sights of Tokyo. We started the day at Tsukiji Fishi Market, seeing a working fish and vegetable market. It was so lively and bustling! Next we went to Shinjuku to buy our bento lunch at Isetan's famous food halls. We had special picnic under the cherry blossom trees in Shinjuku Garden and enjoyed sakura mochi. The sakura trees were just finishing and we were so excited to get to do flower viewing before all the petals fell this week. Next we headed to Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building to see Tokyo from the 45th floor- it is such a huge city! Then, the kids went shopping for popular teen fashions in Harajuku and Omotesando and finished off the day having dinner in Shibuya. We walked for about 12 hours and we all need a good night's sleep to recover!
